To bridge the business and IT gap, organizations must embrace an end-to-end, holistic view of the enterprise that includes critical business perspectives to inform investment decision making. The TOGAF® standard is the industry’s leading framework for the overall practice of Enterprise Architecture and clearly identifies Business Architecture as one of the four core architecture domains. However, the TOGAF Architecture Development Method (ADM) does not describe a prescriptive approach for describing Business Architecture and how that relates to business strategy. The Business Architecture Body of Knowledge® (BIZBOK® Guide) is the industry’s premier set of best practices for implementing Business Architecture, but does not address all requirements for implementing and operating an architecture capability. This webinar will discuss the Business Architecture value proposition and how the TOGAF standard and the BIZBOK Guide can be used together to deliver a comprehensive architecture-grounded approach for business transformation.
