Situation / Challenges

A central challenge and task for IT managers is to carry out strategic planning of the enterprise architectures, to modernize the currently installed IT systems promptly and to support the agile implementation of the digital transformation processes. In the era of digital transformation, digital evolution for companies without the tools of good enterprise architecture management quickly becomes a problem and not a success factor for the entire organization. Ultimately, architects represent an important “hub” for the digital project portfolio. Only in the interaction of all affected architecture areas can the planned applications and microservices be created using cloud, IoT and BigData platforms as well as technologies such as machine learning, artificial intelligence (AI), Blockchain and data analytics successfully initiated and implemented sustainably. Important: Enterprise architecture management is becoming increasingly important for corporate success. Holistic landscape management by enterprise IT architects is an essential basis for the success of digital transformation processes and projects.
