WHAT IS THE BELGIAN CHAPTER OF THE ASSOCIATION OF ENTERPRISE ARCHITECTS?

Wikipedia has an adequate summary of Enterprise Architecture: "Enterprise Architecture (EA) is the art and science of enterprise design. The hope for enterprise architecture is that applying systematic rational methods to the design of an enterprise will produce one that more effectively and efficiently pursues its purposes.”
In order to make sure this hope becomes reality (and inspired by John Götze) the Belgian Chapter of Enterprise Architects (BAEA) was founded. The Association of Enterprise Architects, AEA is an international association with almost 40,000 members from all over the world. Its mission is to work for the advancement of the profession and practice of Enterprise Architecture.
In Belgium, we work up towards this goal organizing every quarter an Architect Café that serves as a forum to share knowledge and enrich the art of Enterprise Architecture.
Since Enterprise Architecture is not yet widely accepted within every organization, BAEA strives to increase architecture awareness by presenting interesting customer cases. These organizations became a.o. agile and successful thanks to their architecture.
