The main advantage of Enterprise Architect (EA) techniques are better planning, earlier visibility of the impact of business issues and better design of solutions that brings significant results after their implementation. Most important benefits of using EA are reduction of risks and obtaining specific benefits: developing more manageable, future-proof organization / system which needs shorter development time for modification and development. This is based on, inter alia, systematic planning, utilization of available reference architectures, the adoption of best practices and consistent application of architectural control. There are available EA frameworks with detailed methodology and best practices for that.

The process of architecture planning that is well organized, based on best practices and transparent provides significant help for quality assurance in terms of future audits, as well as the architectural control of the implementation activities.

The presentation touches related standards of The Open Group as TOGAF (The Open Group Architecture Framework), ArchiMate (standard architecture modeling language) and IT4IT (reference architecture of IT as a business entity).

Participation in the event is free for members of the association and also for any other interested colleagues but pre-registration is necessary. Please indicate your intention to participate in an e-mail to rendezveny@aeahungary.org  until 16th March 2017.
